About

I’m a seasoned technical writer and editor specializing in API documentation, developer tutorials, and UX microcopy. I’m backed by over 13 years of experience extending beyond the scope of technical documentation to include localization management, linguistic research and analysis, web content development, and marketing communications.

I adopt a topic-based, translation-friendly authoring approach in a docs-as-code environment with the goal of creating content that’s concise, accessible, and reusable. I enjoy working independently as much as I do on a team, having built and maintained a global client base for over 4 years as a freelance writer and editor of web copy, white papers, technical reports, and training manuals.

As a linguist, I worked on research projects funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) and published in the areas of corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, language variation and change, and syntax. I hold a Master of Advanced Studies degree in cognitive and functional linguistics from KU Leuven, Ghent University, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and the University of Antwerp and a Master of Arts degree in English linguistics and literature from KU Leuven.
