I’m a seasoned technical writer and editor specializing in API documentation, developer tutorials, and UX microcopy. I’m backed by over 15 years of experience that extends beyond technical documentation and UX writing to include localization management, linguistic research and analysis, and web content development.
I adopt a topic-based, translation-friendly authoring approach in a docs-as-code environment with the goal of creating content that’s concise, accessible, and reusable. I enjoy working independently as much as I do on a team, having built and maintained a global client base as a freelance copywriter and editor for over four years.
As a linguist, I worked on projects funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) and published in the areas of corpus linguistics, language variation and change, and syntax. I hold a Master of Advanced Studies degree in cognitive and functional linguistics from KU Leuven, Ghent University, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and the University of Antwerp and a Master of Arts degree in English linguistics and literature from KU Leuven.
